Jason is a young entrepreneur who is a well-rounded cybersecurity professional with many years of experience in system administration, security control assessments, compliance, privacy, and integration of security solutions. His journey with government agencies started early in his professional life as an employee for the Department of the Treasury.

From a very young age Jason enjoyed the combination of technical challenges, client interaction, and entrepreneurial efforts. In 2008, Mr. Hernandez started his career within the Government Contracting and Consulting industry, in support of many Government Agencies. Since then, he has held various roles in many companies that range from government consulting services to startup businesses management, and multiple technical and administrative positions.

His passion for creating new projects and offering top-notch specialized services led him to the founding of Protect3 Solutions, L.L.C. in 2017.

Mr. Hernandez sets the strategic vision for Protect3 Solutions and presides over all elements of the company. He proudly leads over a small team of experts encouraging them to their best quality performance to meet clients’ goals and deliver leading-edge cyber security services.

His academic preparation includes a master’s degree in Information Systems from University of Phoenix, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, with a certificate in Information Technology Project Management.

Mr. Hernandez also holds multiple technical certifications including VMWare Certified Professional, Tenable Security Center, Splunk Certified Consultant, User Behavior Analytics accredited, and holding ISC2 certifications at the DOD IAM and IAT Levels
